About Bloom Rhode Island
Mission & Vision
Bloom Rhode Island is a not-for-profit initiative supporting Rhode Islanders who beautify publicly visible spaces, from sidewalks to parks, with plants and flowers. Our goal is to help groups and organizations bring more joy to local communities, particularly those with fewer flowers.
Programs
- Bloom Network: An informal alliance of groups, organizations and volunteers making RI’s public spaces more joyful with plants.
- Grants: Funding for groups adding bloom to publicly visible spaces in Providence, Pawtucket, East Providence, Central Falls and Woonsocket.
- Hope Springs: Free March-blooming bulbs and corms for groups planting in public spaces. Now in our 3rd year!
